Patricia Langdon

Dedicated to making a positive difference in the lives of others, Patricia founded Batting 1.000 Baseball & Softball Academy in 2007 Through hard work, dedication and a “never give up” mindset, Batting 1.000 has evolved into the top training facility on Long Island. Patricia credits Batting 1.000’s professional, unbeatable staff for being named the first place winner in 2011,2012 and 2013 as the Best Batting Cage Facility on Long Island by the Long Island Press.

Patricia received the distinct honor of the Nassau County Trailblazer of the Millennium Award in 2009-10 for her lead role in the Wantagh S.O.S. This non-profit organization raised over $600,000 in 5 months enabling the Wantagh School District to reinstate all athletics, arts and music programs lost due to a failed school budget. Amongst several other awards, Patricia received the “Best Business of the Year” Award and has received several citations for her role in serving others on behalf of Batting 1.000, the Wantagh S.O.S. and the Wantagh Foundation for Educational Excellence.
