Brandon Golden

Biography
Brandon is a 2012 Graduate of East Carolina with a Bachelors in Kinesiology. After his undergraduate studies, he started his career in Collegiate Strength and Conditioning at High Point University with all sports. He spent a year and a half developing training programs and assisting coaches throughout the department. In 2014, BG went to Mississippi State to work with the Baseball team as a Performance Coach Intern. After his time in Starkville, he came back to the Triad of NC and worked with all Olympic Sports at Wake Forest University before heading up to Queens NY.
As a Graduate Assistant at St. John’s University, Brandon had the opportunity to learn the game of baseball from a future Hall of Fame head coach, Ed Blankmeyer. St. John’s was a pivotal time in his career in learning how performance metrics and overall training impacts the game of baseball. After St. John’s, Brandon went to Charleston Southern as a Performance Coach where he was one of two full time staff members who were responsible for all student athletes.
On January 3rd of 2017, Brandon made his way back to Greenville, NC as a Strength and Conditioning Coach for East Carolina Baseball. Over the course of several years BG was an integral part in the success of the Pirates. In January of 2021, he accepted a position with the Los Angeles Dodgers as a Performance Coach. During his time with the Dodgers, Brandon was responsible for some of the game’s most coveted prospects. His experiences with the Dodgers includes time in the performance science, rehab, skill acquisition, and overall athletic development realms, which gives him a well rounded view on how to develop players from youth ages to the highest level of the game in the Major Leagues.
With over a decade of experience developing players into some of the best the game has to offer, Brandon understands how to take information and create a program that is specific to the individual along with developing the trust and relationship needed to push them to be their very best in athletics and life. For BG, its about results and relationships. This is clear with his involvement as a consultant for some of the top Division 1 programs in the country.
